A family owned and run wine estate situated on the beautiful Stellenbosch Wine Route, with panoramic views of Table Mountain, Table Bay and False Bay.  The name “Zevenwacht”, derived from the Dutch “Seven Expectations” is a modern wine farm with a 300-year history.  The winemaking philosophy is simple, “quality begins in the vineyard”.  Zevenwacht is a member of the Biodiversity & Wine initiative (BWI), a partnership between the South African wine industry and Nature Conservation, aimed at alleviating the impact of agricultural activities on the environment.

Z Collection Sauvignon Blanc 2024

The nose shows vibrant lime, gooseberry and nectarine with subtle oak spice and undertones fresh nettle. The generous mouth feel is supported with a fine natural lime acidity that gives the wine length and focus.

Complex nose of blackberry, cranberry and dark cherries with savoury herbs and peppery spice. The palate impresses with ample dark fruit and subtle tannins that are underpinned with elegant oak use that adds to the structure of the wine.

The wine is classic and elegant showing cassis, blackberry and cherry with underlying notes of violets and graphite on the nose. Dark fruits dominate on the palate with a firm, yet well integrated tannin structure and lingering finish.
