De Grendel Sauvignon Blanc Noble Late Harvest 2020

The wine displays a golden to light amber colour. It has a perfumed nose of bright pineapple, ripe apricot, honeyed marmalade and seductive citrus blossom. These heady aromas are supported by orange blossom, jasmine and wild rosemary. The nose carries through to the taste, where the mouth-watering sweetness is cut by a tangy acidity, which ensures a persistent and refreshing finish. This is a naturally fermented and unfortified wine, and allows for many delightful treats, which may include savoury duck liver pate, creamy puddings such as clafoutis, and traditional soft cheeses. Serve chilled and don’t wait for dessert.

De Grendel Op Die Berg Pinot Noir 2020

The wine has an intense and deep colour. Enticing nose of red berry fruits and delicate touches of morels. Elegant entry with subtle aromas of strawberry and cherry, followed by the wine’s tannin making itself felt, and finally the finish shows delicious persistence. Delicious when served slightly chilled during the warmer summer months. Enjoy with a delicious charcuterie platter, freshly baked bread, and roasted onion marmalade.

Dense in colour and bold in flavour with forthcoming aromas of sweet and spicy plum sauce, tobacco, blackberry, tar and liquorice. A succulent and juicy full-bodied wine that is rich and velvety in texture and pleasing on the finish. A wine with ripe, soft tannins that is made to last. Try Amandelboord Pinotage with roasted meats such as butterflied leg of lamb and vegetables topped with flavourful sauces such as teriyaki, plum sauce, and barbecue flavours.
